Marine Paradise

A hypothetical design developed for the Wok restaurant chain, inspired by their sustainable ethos. These reusable ice cubes are made from recycled plastic infused with aloe vera. Once removed from the freezer, they chill beverages without melting.

The concept invites restaurant patrons to reflect on the issue of industrial waste in water, symbolically bringing distant ocean pollution into their glass. It underscores how waste, normalized by capitalist society, ultimately returns to us as microplastics. After their dining experience, customers can take the ice cubes home to continue using them.
